Platinum Top 50 Special Awards are a way to recognize the accomplishments of both agents and industry professionals who embody the values of Platinum Top 50.
Those recognized for special award category are nominated by their peers. All nomination applications and supporting information will be anonymously reviewed and scored by a panel of unbiased individuals who are employed in the non-profit, education, and real estate sectors. The winners in each category will be recognized at the PT50 Awards Ceremony in December.
Nominations for all special categories will be accepted between October 1 and October 18. All nominees will be notified in November.
Newcomer of the Year
Do you know a new agent who started their career in real estate in the last two years and has excelled both personally and professionally since obtaining their license? Platinum Top 50’s Newcomer of the Year Award recognizes a well-rounded agent who has demonstrated initial success in their career, has made a commitment to serving their community, and promotes the advancement of real estate through their involvement in industry-related activities.
Agents nominated for Newcomer of the Year must have enacted their license in the last 24 months (on or before September 1, 2017).
Trainer of the Year
PT50 regards education and training as a huge component of success in the world of real estate. Trainer of the Year is designed to recognize a single agent or industry professional who is committed to the development of agents through training, mentorship, education and/or professional development throughout the year. People recognized in this category spend a portion of their time educating and training others and have experience developing and/or presenting course curriculum.
Executive of the Year
Executive of the Year is an award designed to recognize executive leaders or managers at the brokerage level who excel in areas of leadership, motivation and innovation.
An executive is responsible for mentoring agents under their leadership to perform at the highest standards. They have a willingness to work alongside industry partners, are receptive to partnerships, and introduce their offices to new ideas and technologies.
Nominees for Executive of the Year should be in an ownership, leadership or management position and be committed to the growth of the company as well as the individual agent.

Partner of the Year
PT50’s newest award, Partner of the Year, seeks to recognize a real estate industry professional or business who consistently goes above and beyond to provide exceptional products and services to PT50 agents and their clients.
They are active in Platinum Top 50 events, further advancing our purpose by creating meaningful connections in real estate. They educate people, attend our events, and enhance the network as a whole through their participation and support of our agents.
Nominees for Partner of the Year must be a company, or an employee of a company, who is a current client or affiliate partner of Platinum Top 50 and must be nominated by a current PT50 agent.
Career Achievement
Open to industry professionals, executives or licensed agents, the PT50 Career Achievement Award recognizes a seasoned industry veteran who has displayed excellence throughout their career spanning at least 15 years in real estate. Over their career, they have built, grown and maintained respect in the industry with their clients and peers.
Ideal candidates provide mentorship and leadership to agents or other professionals, are in good standing with the industry associations and governing bodies, embrace the value of Platinum Top 50, and are committed to professional and personal excellence.
